ON Saturday a four ball better ball competition with both scores to count on all par threes was held at Okehampton Golf Club and the winners were Lee Pengelly and Kevin Cornwall.

In second place were John Flavin and Kevin Harding and third position went to Jerry Lock and Steve Hill.

Also this week the men’s senior section took on the ladies for the annual ‘Rolling Pin’ challenge, the format being a four ball better ball Stableford competition with a total aggregate score at the end. However, despite disbelief in the senior section, the ladies were triumphant and won by a clear six points.
