Whitchurch Primary School again hosted the West Devon Primary Schools Tri-Golf Festival. Teams from Tavistock Primary, Lamerton, St Peter’s, Horrabridge, Okehampton, St Andrew’s and Whitchurch took part.

The Year 3 and 4 competition was in the form of golfing skills stations, with points being awarded for accuracy in putting and chipping. This was won again by reigning West Devon champions St Peter’s with Whitchurch runners up and Horrabridge in third place.

Year 5 and 6 pupils played seven holes of golf with the lowest scorers being the winners. This was a very tight affair with Whitchurch emerging as the winners, beating Okehampton by just one point. Lamerton took the bronze medals.
