ON Saturday Okehampton Golf Club held a three ball, one to count, Stableford competition.

Division one winners were Jack Cornwall, Arnie Searle and Will Searle with 52 points; in second place Del Owen, Alan Stokes and James Hall with 49 pts and in third place Rod Milsom-Smith, Kevin Pedrick and Adrian Raymond with 48pts. Division two winners were Tony Williams, Steve Hill and Jerry Lock with 47pts; in second place Paul MacDonald, Steve Squires and Gavin Jackson with 46pts and in third place Steve Browne, Brian May and Steve Pike with 45pts.

On December 28 a four ball better ball competition took place at Okehampton Golf Club.

With both scores to count on the par threes the winners of division one were Pete Murphy and Matt Mills with 56 points.

In second place were Evan Rees and Bryan Evans with 55pts; Gareth Holt and Chris Pike were third with 54pts after countback on the back nine from, in fourth, Rob Green and Toby Gostling.

Division two was won by Frances Harbron and Brian May with 56pts winning on the back nine placing Dave Chammings and Mark Bennett in second also with 56pts.

Ted Boswell and Ray Stevens were third with 55pts and Norman Heslop and Frank Nowell took fourth place with 54pts.
