THE re-arranged Lamerton Point to Point will be held at Kilworthy, Tavistock, on Saturday (April 1). Kilworthy is on the A386 Tavistock to Okehampton road and the course will be clearly signposted.

Unfortunately the poor weather leading up to last weekend left several areas in a poor condition so the decision was made to postpone the racing until this weekend.

As the same entries are carried over there are 108 declared runners including some well-known local teams such as those trained by Dean and Emma Summersby who are currently the top trainers with the most winners for those with up to seven horses in training. There will be six races with the possibility that the maiden race will be split on the day.

The entry track has been improved and there is temporary access matting for the lorries and there will be extra matting for the car park access if necessary.
